Proper transfer is a two step process. First, your old film or tape is transferred to miniDV tape to create an archival digital master. Then, from the master, we create a DVD of either your raw or edited and/or restored footage. DVDs are excellent for viewing on a computer or television, but, unlike miniDV tape, do not preserve the full resolution of the transferred material and thus are unacceptable for archival purposes.
